Making big issues of non issues

looking at my avatar, which is not me by the way, sort of made think that it seems to me that the organisation has the unfortunate knack of making big issues out of trivial, non-issues.

take beards for instance, an long time favorite for discussion on this board.

one of the only two times in nearly 50 years in the 'truth' that i ever got counselled, i was always a 'goody two shoes' in those days, was over taking the ministry school wearing a full beard.

Everyone at the kingdumb hell, should wear fake beards in protest at the next meeting. If they wern't so serious it might be funny.
Hell we got wars going on, food prices rising, aids crisis in Africa, fuel costs soaring, global warming, economic meltdowns, and rioting.

That's right Eyeslice, and some of their female athletes, were on so many steroids, they looked like Madonna, after she gets out of the gym.

I think a lot of this is not just political it's economic's too. China is emerging as an econimic force to be reckoned with. The States owes China tons of money. It wasn't an accident that China was chosen to host the olympics. Endorsments advertising will open China doors further in the world economy. Most of the top medal winners are from countries that are politically and econimically significant.
In wrestling one Swede through his medal to the ground in disgust. Both he and his coach were convinced of judges favoutism. I'm not saying this happens in all cases, as some events are more convincingly merasured.
Bolts breaking of the 100 metres is hard to beleive. I say that cuz it keeps getting broken year after year. How long can you break a record like this. Unless you start wearing rocket shoes. I'm not disputing he won. That's obvious but still hard to beleive. I'd have to time it myself to beleive it.
Canada has only started winning a few. All this stuff doesn't matter a hill of beans to me. I mean really does anyone care that much, that isn't involved fiancially. I can assure you my gluten free bread will still be six dollars a loaf, and that's a small loaf too!

Just as Ted Jaracz said, when coming off the podium unsuspectingly to a Tv crew. "We do not go beyond the written word." Neither did the scribes or the pharisees.
Witnesses have always concerned themselves with the letter of the law, rather than the spirit of the law. And what else could one expect from an organization, composed of folks who pay more attention to the old testament and whose heirarchy consists of heartless lawyers that serve the governing body. Can't you just feel the warmth compassion and mercy.
I'm suprized they're not stoning people, but the shunning, that Rutherford learned from Stalins purges, to hold on to power, come pretty effin close to burying you alive.

Jack Sparrow, has a mind that's narrow, and Sweetstuff thinks she's verbally tuff. Maybe they're mellow, but it borders on yellow, and I've always found John Doe, has a smello. ( I better get off this thread before the assaults are launched)
